Ways to Serve

Time

• Complete Office tasks as directed by Office Manager (e.g., preparing mass mailing, filing)
• Food Pantry volunteer (help sort, shelve, display donated items)
  
• Volunteering in Clothing Room – sorting donations, assisting in display of donated items
  
• Volunteering to serve on Board of Directors (when vacancies occur—call to request more information)
  

Talents

• Tutoring children/youth who live at R.U.M. with parents who are in the Program
• Mentoring children/youth who live at R.U.M. with parents who are in the Program
  
• Case Management counseling (coordinated with staff Lead Case Manager) for clients in the Program
  
• Teaching a short-term class for clients who are in the Program (e.g., financial management, parenting, pre-employment preparation, etc.)
  
• Prepare and present devotions for clients in the Program
  

Treasure

• SMALL APPLIANCES—new or working crockpot, microwave
• FURNITURE for client units (e.g., bed, small table, small chest)
  
• LINENS (full size/twin size bedspread or sheet sets, bath towels and washcloths)
  
• CLOTHING/SHOES for all ages
  
• MONETARY GIVING (Donate Today!)
  • LEGACY giving, PLANNED giving from IRA Required Minimum Donation (RMD)
  • MEMORIAL/HONORARY donations with mention on webpage
  • Give Online (one time or monthly)
